Each year, the Archdiocese of New York, through the Cardinal's Appeal, raises funds to support the charitable, pastoral, spiritual, and educational ministries that make our Archdiocese so vibrant and alive.
There are so many reasons why the appeal is important not only to those in need, but also to us in our parish community. Your support of the 2009 Cardinal's Annual Appeal helps countless men, women, and children and it sustains the fabric of our ministries throughout the Archdiocese.
What does your gift to the 2009 Cardinal's Annual Appeal do?
• It helps educate our children in our Catholic schools and religious education programs.
• It provides for retired priests and religious by giving them the retirement care they deserve after decades of service.
• It helps educate our future priests and deacons who will serve the Church of New York.
• It enables the Archdiocese to support struggling parishes in continuing to shepherd God's people and educate our youth.
• It provides funding for the myriad of professional services and the guidance which parishes, schools, and other ministries receive through the Archdiocese.

This year's Archdiocesan goal $17,000,000, and our parish goal is $92,400. Last year, 153 parishioners and families pledged $72,000, so we need everyone's involvement to reach this higher goal.
